Heroes, Heroines, & The Red Violin

Join us on the MainStage at Proctors Theatre 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022. The program features the lovely “Scheherazade” by Maurice Ravel and our guest soloist is Jennifer Forni. Jennifer has sung on the Metropolitan Opera Stage and is renowned for her lush and lyrical voice. We’ll also feature composer John Corigliano’s “Chaconne from the Red Violin” with soloist Aram Kim. Kim won both the Schenectady-Saratoga Symphony’s Stefan Competition and the Empire State Youth Orchestra’s Lyman Concerto Competition and is currently studying at Juilliard. We’ll conclude the program with one of Beethoven’s most celebrated works, the wonderful “Symphony #3 Eroica”. Tickets are available at Proctors box office in person, by phone, or online.
